Media Evolution's first student member

30 October, 2012 - 17:15

Several university students have previously shown an interest in being able to take part in Media Evolution’s activities and now our first student member is here. We say welcome to Lovisa Fey; Media Evolution’s first student member.

We contacted Lovisa to get a moment with her thoughts.

Lovisa Fey
Lovisa isn’t at all a stranger to Media Evolution or Media Evolution City; she has previously been to events whenever possible, the last one she went to was Openleaks’ founder Daniel Domscheit-Berg’s lecture, and she has also worked as an intern at Good Old. At the moment Lovisa is studying Strategic communication and digital media at Campus Helsingborg. During fall she has been at SUS’s communications department working with social media strategies, something she says made her interest peak, and she can’t wait till when she’s finished with her studies this spring.

She has taken the opportunity to become a student member so she can have the possibility to take part in more events, attend exciting lectures, and meet inspiring people in the industry. Besides communications, Lovisa, who describes herself as a “bookworm”, enjoys discussing books and life together with other bookworms.

Student membership
Students with an interest in the media industry have the possibility to become members of Media Evolution. Student membership costs 500 SEK/year per student and gives the student the possibility to take part in Media Evolutions events (given there are enough free spots) and receive an email newsletter.

To get a student membership, send an application to yasemin [at] mediaevolution [dot] se and state your full name, email address, and billing address (an invoice can also be sent via email if requested).

Media Evolution Campus
We also have a Facebook group, Media Evolution Campus, which offers students, job-seekers, and companies currently hiring or doing different projects, a forum to be seen in and a place where Media Evolution invites to open events. Students have the possibility within the group to introduce themselves to our members and to other interested parties.
