Network by doing – Göran meets Geek meets Medea at STPLN.

It's good to meet various women who work with business and digital media. This is something that Geek Girls, Network George and MEDEA have been talking about.

Wednesday, September 21, you, as a woman, are welcomed for a workshop, mingling and food. Take the opportunity to make an interactive object with Arduino, an electronics prototype kit, with open source, that was presented at The Conference in August in Malmö. No previous experience needed.

The workshop is designed to work in a way where everyone helps each other to get where they want to go. It gives the opportunity to learn together and build something, maybe a game, a dancing light, a secret box, whatever the group feels like doing. Interaction design student Clara Leivas leads the workshop along with some helpers.

The organizers who have "stitched up" the evening believe that the workshop allows for more exchanges between the respective organizations and among individuals themselves. And of course tempt you to learn a little more in the field of technology, games, new media and all its possibilities. Take the opportunity to do something with someone who has different skills than you.
