Make It Happen - Geek Girl Meetup Öresund

Welcome to the 7:th annual Geek Girl Meetup Öresund in Malmö. An unconference where all of us that show up have a part in creating the conference. 2016 year's “Make IT happen” is about how we all use, learn, love or try to understand technology and drive business to make things happen.

Make IT happen:
Everything is better when we do it together and on Saturday, November 19 we will fill the great space at Media Evolution City. There will be sessions and workshops on start-ups, entrepreneurship, IT, programming, digital media and everything in between.

Who's it for:
Geek Girl Meetup is for everyone identifying themselves as a woman and has a passion for entrepreneurship, technology and/or digital media.
We attract an international crowd, so if you feel comfortable, please hold your talk in English. That way we can include even more Geek Girls :)

Un-conference :
An unconference is when all participants that join it also are the ones creating it. When you sign up, you also can sign-up if you want to hold a talk (20 min) or workshop (50 minutes), let us now if you need more time. However, you can also just come and network, or contribute with being a moderator, helping out with coffee, taking pictures, blog etc. Just let us know what you want!

Included in the ticket:
A day of sessions, workshops and activities at FooCafe and the great premises in Media Evolution City, Malmö. You’ll talk and connect with other Geek Girls. Also: morning coffee, lunch (vegetarian) and fika in the afternoon.
