We are hiring! - Head of Publications

We are looking for a person who is passionate about the development of the media industries to take care of our quarterly publication about factors that affect the media industries. So far we have released eight publication on subjects such as crowdfunding, gamification and collaborative consumption.

As our Head of Publications you lead the process of releasing a publication. You are the project manager and the editor. You write some of the texts and you are instrumental in the distribution and communication of the finished product.

We think you:
- have writing skills
- follow tech and media blogs like a maniac
- have the ability to find trends in your everyday research and communicate them as factors that affects the media industries today and tomorrow
- have project manager skills to lead the work with a publication from research, editing and layout to distribution and communication

Swedish is not a requirement, English is.
It's good if you are able to be based in Malmö or can be here every now and then. But with modern technology you can of course do the job from all over the world.

The assignment
The job is project based and is limited to producing two publications, one before Christmas 2012 and one in the beginning of 2013. But, there will be possibilities for an extension and other openings in market research within the company.

Media Evolution is a media cluster and member based organisation that endeavours to strengthen innovation and growth in southern Sweden's media sectors through projects and events. We run Media Evolution City a permanent meeting place, aka. a house, for 500 persons and 100 companies. Annually we organize Scandinavia's most important media conference, The Conference.
