Filmcentrum Syd

FilmCentrum is a nationwide organisation that, since the start 1968, has worked with distribution of short- and documentary film, as well as fiction. FilmCentrum has presented cultural projects and managed courses within the film community. We also have our own magazine – FILM & TV – which is published in cooperation with Folkets Bio.

The work at FilmCentrum Syd is mainly focused around production, courses and arrangements.We also offer office space for smaller companies that work with film-related tasks. By collecting creative people and companies under one roof, we create good conditions for new meetings and collaborations.

We are really good at:
- Supporting professional and semi-professional filmmakers with tutoring and technical support
- Training filmmakers in current technique and programs relating to film work.
- Providing a meeting space for film workers.
